Is Jordee Brompton Taking Over at Tesla?

It’s been a funny start to the year for our favourite visionary billionaire genius, Elon Musk. Whether it’s slashing Tesla’s Supercharger team, making bold statements online and rather odd salutes during presidential inaugurations, it’s safe to say things at Tesla are looking a little… unpredictable.

So, what Tesla really needs right now is a strong, visionary leader to step in and steady the ship. Someone with a proven track record of shaking up the industry, delivering game-changing tech, and inspiring a loyal following.

Someone like our favourite Grimbarian tech innovator, Jordee Brompton, perhaps?

Jordan vs. Elon: A Tale of Two Innovators

Alright, we’re (mostly) joking—Jordan isn’t actually heading to Tesla, as far as I know, but if she did, let’s be honest, she’d probably sort it out. While Elon has been busy renaming Twitter to ‘X’ and courting controversy, Jordan has spent the last decade building myenergi, one of the UK’s most exciting clean energy companies with co-founder and tech wizard, Lee Sutton —and she’s done it with a lot less drama.

Here’s how their career highlights compare:

🚀 Elon Musk

  • Revolutionised the EV industry with Tesla
  • Spearheaded the transition to sustainable energy (while also selling flamethrowers).
  • Pushed for home energy solutions with Powerwall

  • Made Twitter/X… he’s all about the minimalism. Btw Elon, thanks for putting the indicator stalks back in the Model Y!

⚡ Jordan Brompton

  • Co-founded myenergi, a brand that’s transformed home energy management in the UK and beyond.
  • Launched the zappi, the world’s first solar-compatible EV charger, years before mainstream brands caught on.
  • Helped homeowners take control of their energy with the eddi energy diverter.
  • Pushed for cleaner, smarter energy solutions without needing a meme-based PR strategy.
  • Put the UK on the map for charging tech and helped to generate thousands of jobs and new career opportunities.

Sure, Elon might be busy planning missions to Mars, but Jordan and the incredible myenergi team have been quietly revolutionising the way we power our homes and cars right here on Earth. And with myenergi now a household name in sustainable tech, she’s leaving her CMO role on a high.

A New Chapter for myenergi

Jordan recently shared, “I want to recharge my batteries and hang out with my little girl more after a whirlwind few years… it’s been an incredible 8 years, we’ve broken so many glass ceilings. And I can’t wait to watch and see what the team at myenergi achieve in the next chapter.”

While Jordan might not be running Tesla anytime soon, her decision to step back from the day-to-day operations at myenergi is still a huge moment for the company – And whoever comes in will have big stilettos to fill! As one of its co-founders, she’s been at the heart of its journey—from a disruptive startup to an industry leader. Now, she’s taking on a more strategic role on the board, allowing a new leadership team to take the reins.

But myenergi isn’t slowing down. In fact, it’s recently launched one of its most exciting and crucial products yet—and we’ve been lucky enough to get our hands on it.

The Future of Home Energy

Meet libbi—myenergi’s home battery storage system. Designed to work seamlessly with solar panels, EV chargers, and smart home energy setups, it’s changing the way we store and use electricity. If myenergi’s track record is anything to go by, it going to be a game-changer.

We’ve been testing it out for ourselves, and let’s just say… we’re impressed by the looks, compatibility with other myenergi products and the fact it has slashed our electricity bills and increased our EPC rating overnight. Our full Libbi install video is coming soon—so keep your eyes peeled!

What do you think—would Jordan be a better Tesla CEO than Elon? And what’s would you like to see next for myenergi and Jordee? ⚡
